Let me out of here,” thought Nicole while she sat in her first service. Raised as a strict Catholic, the Pentecostal worship seemed more than she could handle. Now you can’t hardly drag her away. God has changed Nicole’s’ heart and life. Coming to the church in the summer of 1999, Nicole wanted God to help her in a number of areas. She needed a lot of inner healing, love, and hope. Now, she finds it difficult to remember life before God blessed her.
Her husband, Joseph was raised in the Rochelle, IL area and attended the “Church of the Month Club”. If you ask him, he’ll tell you his father, when they were growing up, took him to just about every kind of church there was. When he came into the Church in January of 2000, he found a home to stay.
Vital Statistics: The two new Christians fell in love and were married in July of 2000. Nicole has two sons, Eric 17, and Ryan 15 . Joe is Ryan’s father and Eric’s step-dad. Eric is in his senior year of high school at Chana High School. and Ryan is a Sophomore at Sycamore High School.
Joseph works for Mason Properties as a manager at St. Alban Greens in Sycamore.. Nicole works for a company called Illinois ASBO on NIU campus in DeKalb. She graduated from Kishwaukee College in December of 2008. Joseph drives the church van, ushers, and helps out wherever he can. Nicole teaches Sunday School and lands a hand where asked to. As a church family, we are so appreciative all their efforts.
